KNZ HORSE, for the development of every horse, high-quality salt lick blocks with high added value.

KNZ Horse is a special salt lick block for horses containing 100% pure refined vacuum salt and special trace elements.

 

Type of salt

KNZ HORSE facilitates growth and good appetite.

It contains magnesium, which ensures normal muscle function and contributes to the development of a healthy nervous system.

It also contains zinc, which has a positive effect on appetite and contributes to the formation of shiny hair. The salt lick block contains iron, which is particularly important for promoting the athletic achievements of horses, as it promotes oxygen circulation and endurance.

 

Composition

The salt block consists of high-quality vacuum salt and added micro- and macroelements.

Additional description

This salt lick block is not suitable for foals because the iron concentration therein is too high.

In cooperation with the Utrecht University, Akzo Nobel AS has developed a special salt lick block for horses that meets their needs for nutrients.

KNZ does not contain artificial colours and flavourings. Therefore, any animal may lick this block according to its needs.

 

Description of origin

Moisture resistant, tightly pressed, tongue-shaped, particularly balanced and specially designed formulation, excellent taste qualities, efficient, and easy to use for horses.

KNZ Horse provides the amount of iron as needed, there is no risk of overuse. Usage is effective, there is no surplus, and the salt does not crumble.

 

Recommendations for use

1. Ensure the KNZ salt lick throughout the year.

2. Ensure that the KNZ salt lick is freely available.

3. Use a 2 kg salt lick block for one horse and several 2 kg blocks for several horses.

4.Ensure that water is available at all times.

5.Place the salt lick block at the height of the animal’s chest, next to the water source.

6.Place the 2 kg tongue-shaped salt lick for horses with the narrowest side down.

7.Salt corrodes steel, therefore reduce the likelihood of contact between salt and steel surfaces.
