potassium iodide (KI), or potassium iodate (KIO3) is used to iodize table salt:

The iodine-ion content of the table or common salt is 0.002-0.005%.

The iodine-ion content of the salt used in food production is 0.004-0.01%.

 

Description of origin

“Extra Polesie” salt from Belarus

is fine evaporated salt.

It contains 50-70 times less impurities than rock salt.

Volume of NaCl in “Extra Polesie”

exceeds 99.7%, which meets the requirements for table salt.
